I’m Sam Wild, a journalist who landed in sales tech in 2014, hoping for job security and steady income. I got them both, specializing in product marketing: being the voice of a product to the market, and the voice of a customer back to the product. I help brands find their resonance, and people solve their pains.

In 2023, I told my somatic mentor, “I feel like I’m one person during the day, dissociating and pushing through work until I clock out. Then I become my other Self.”

I could no longer compartmentalize my personal loves–somatics, yoga, herbalism, travel, hiking, nature, food, spirituality, grief work– from a career in tech that was focused on money, ego, status, and ladders. My Self leaked into my work and vice-versa, painfully unintegrated.

I  opened my heart for two years, listening for a call to pivot completely, leave my field, and start fresh. The idea for Expand came quietly (muy rápido!) in a drive home from a hike.

My love for synthesizing, finding resonance, and communication were true, but applied in the wrong space. My call was to “help the healers,” loud and clear.  Expand came pouring out of me in a matter of days.
